today being the supposedly last day of school, teachers performed.
teachers ranging from miss raju right down to miss karen kang were performing.
all kinds of performances really got the whole school high!
teachers sang and danced!
really an eye-opener and teachers are becoming more sporting.
maybe it's because of our principal with great sportsmanship.

miss lim gave us each a box of 'NERDS' sweets and a packet of coffee powder.
she said it was to encourage us to work harder.
she gave them to everyone but grouped us into several groups.
the late comers, people at the back during the assembly, and many other groups.
she then gave out cups and said it was for a toast.
but we couldnt be drinking air, so she bought 4 bottles of non-alcoholic sparkling grape juice.
she was good at opening the bottles! (maybe she drinks quite a bit? haha!)
we kept the empty bottles on the top of our classroom whiteboard.
she's actually very nice. but can be super strict and unreasonable once in a while.

it's really still very disheartening to see those people in si chuan,
suffering and grieving over their lost loved ones.

With love,
